TcpLink 3000 USB
Connects ASPECT 3000 computer to the laboratory network
 
  TcpLink 3000 USB is an high performance accessory unit to ASPECT 3000 computer that expands its networking capability significantly. TcpLink 3000 USB is designed to connect the ASPECT to the USB bus of a PC and transfers the data to a logical drive or a share in the network. The ASPECT 3000 is thus best prepared for data exchange with modern UNIX computers, workstations, PCs and server which are part of the network.  
  The TcpLink 3000 USB consists of following parts:
  • A printed cuircit board with an I/O-Bus interface to the ASPECT 3000 and an USB controller.
  • USB cable 4,5 m (max. length including amplifier is 25 m)
  • Software for the ASPECT 3000 (TCP)
  • Software for a PC with USB bus (Windows 2000/XP)
  • Users Manual
 TcpLink 3000 USB provides the ASPECT 3000 with the following capabilities:
  • Send files to host computers connected to the network
  • Fetch files from a host and store it on the ASPECT disk
  • List the contens f a host directory on the ASPEcT display
  • Store data on DOS formatted floppy disk
  • Initiation of the transfer from ADAKOS, DISNMR or within the automation
 
  The transfer time for send of files from ASPECT 3000 to the PC (network) are are as follows:
  • 16k ASPECT files (58 kB) - 11 sec
  • 32k ASPECT files (96 kB) - 12 sec
  • 64k ASPECT files (192 kB) - 16 sec
